ENVIRONMENTAL BRANDING FOR SPORTS FACILITIES

BALL STATE UNIVERSITY FOOTBALL FACILITY

Ball State University was looking to showcase the traditions and future goals of the Ball State Football program through a refresh of their football facility. As an Experiential Design contractor at Section 127, I worked on designing ways to enhance the impact of the space and communicate the team’s identity through environmental graphics. Through fresh paint, large super-graphic fabric frames, banners draped from the vaulted ceilings, dimensional letters and logos, accent lighting, and other branded applications, I aimed to design graphics that will excite and inspire team members and visitors as well as impress and intimidate competitors.

BROWNSBURG HIGH SCHOOL ACCOLADE HALLWAY

Brownsburg High School wanted to create excitement through brand opportunities that breathe new life into the Brownsburg High School accolade hallway while engaging the athletes, students, athletics personnel, coaches, and sporting event attendees. They tasked Section 127 with designing a comprehensive experiential décor package that both highlights and celebrates the school’s athletic branding as well as the athletics partnership with Nike and the Jordan brand. Through a combination of different environmental branding elements, I designed a cohesive solution aimed to achieve these goals.

VALPARAISO UNIVERSITY WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL LOCKER ROOMS

In an effort to get funding to refresh the design of the Valpo Women’s Volleyball locker rooms, Section 127 was brought on to create quick renders illustrating the effect that new environmental branding would have on the space. Through a combination of vinyl graphics, fresh paint, dimensional logos, and a dimensional word wall, I designed and created renders showcasing the potential of the locker room space.
