GORE BRAND EXPERIENCE CENTER

W. L. Gore & Associates is a global materials science company focused on discovery, product innovation, and a commitment to improving lives. Bluecadet first designed a comprehensive new spatial and interpretive experience for the company’s Newark, Delaware brand experience center. Now, W.L. Gore and Associates is building a new brand experience center in Putzbrunn, Germany that they want to have the same features as the first location, but with different spatial constraints. I was brought in to evaluate how each of the elements would work best in the new space. I first 3D modeled the new capabilities center framework and then each of the elements. With these 3D models, I did many spatial studies. I analyzed the user journey of the original brand experience center, and then aimed to keep a similar user flow for the new center. Due to some of the spatial differences, I redesigned a portion of the elements to work better in the new space. Because the new building is not built yet, I coordinated with the architects in Germany to make suggestions about how the space could be tweaked to best accommodate each of the elements.
